BREAKING NEWS: coming from Manchester United its been confirmed that United’s current CEO Richard Arnold will be leaving the club. In the next several days, British billionaire Ratcliffe is anticipated to finish acquiring a quarter of Manchester United and former PSG and Juventus chief will take over from Richard Arnold.
According to reports, Jean-Claude Blanc is being considered by Manchester United to become their new CEO.
Richard Arnold will step down as CEO of the Red Devils after 16 years of service, the team announced earlier today.
Patrick Stewart, who will take over as acting CEO, will temporarily succeed Arnold.
Additionally, footballwave revealed that Blanc is being considered as a long-term replacement for him.
Currently, the Frenchman is in charge of INEOS, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s company,’s sporting portfolio.
In the next several days, British billionaire Ratcliffe is anticipated to finish acquiring a quarter of Manchester United.
And it is acknowledged that he has decided to go on with Blanc in lieu of Arnold.
In the past, Jean-Claude Blanc has held positions with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in the football league.
The sixty-year-old formerly worked for the Parisians as a sports marketing executive and briefly served as CEO of Juventus.
When Ratcliffe’s takeover is finished, expect him and his allies to take over football operations.
Additionally, he would be better able to make changes when Man Utd goes through a moment of transition with the arrival of a well-known CEO.
This week has seen additional funding for the team as US billionaire Leon Cooperman acquired over ONE MILLION shares in the Manchester giants.
But even so, his £13.5 million investment pales in comparison to Ratcliffe’s estimated £1.4 billion payment for his 25% share.
