BREAKING NEWS: coming from Fabrizio Romano, arteta is left furious with arsenal players after arsenal failed to get their place back in the Champions League title race. “He’s the worst thing that has ever happened to me i regret starting him in that match his ineffectiveness cost us today he should quit football and retire. He’s a mess”. Arsenal boss in rage over Arsenal’s star display against Bayern Munich.

Criticism has been directed at Arsenal’s star player Kai Havertz on social media following Bayern Munich’s elimination of his team from the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Allianz Arena on April 17, resulting in a 2-1 aggregate loss in the quarterfinal tie. The winning goal for Bayern was scored by Havertz’s Germany teammate, Joshua Kimmich.

Havertz has experienced a resurgence in his career since joining Arsenal from Chelsea last summer. With 10 goals and five assists in 45 appearances across various competitions, he has silenced many of his critics. However, the 24-year-old failed to replicate his recent impressive form against Bayern, particularly in his false nine role, managing just one shot throughout the game despite winning five of six aerial duels.

Arsenal entered the match against Bayern following a disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa in the league. Mikel Arteta’s side is perilously close to finishing the season without a trophy. Arteta was lauded for guiding the Gunners to the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time since 2010. However, their journey ended there, with Bayern set to face Real Madrid in the semifinals after defeating Manchester City.

Fans have singled out Havertz for criticism following his subdued performance against Bayern. One fan expressed frustration over the £65 million investment in Havertz, claiming it has hindered Arsenal’s progress for four years, labeling him as an “absolute nothing player” without any elite qualities.

Havertz’s positional deployment also came under scrutiny when he was moved into midfield for Arsenal’s crucial league clash against Aston Villa on April 14. This decision raised eyebrows, particularly since it seemed aimed at accommodating Leandro Trossard. Arsenal suffered a 2-0 defeat, with goals from Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins denting their title aspirations. Don Hutchison criticized Arteta’s decision to play Havertz in midfield, suggesting that Jorginho would have been a more suitable option to control the game.

Following Arsenal’s defeat, they find themselves in second place in the title race, trailing leaders Manchester City by two points with six games remaining. Despite Havertz’s impressive resurgence with Arsenal this season, his performance will be overshadowed if it does not translate into trophy success for the club.

Kai Havert isn’t a kind of player that can be taken arsenal to the glory, I don’t know why Arteta always using him ahead of Eddie inkhetia?
