DEVASTATING NEWS: Coming from Fabrizio Romano, ” I’m not happy at all with my teammates and the coach whenever I’m on the pitch I feel abandoned like I have to do everything on my own I feel betrayed that’s why I’m not performing to the level that Man Utd had hoped, I’m sorry but I’m beginning to regret my coming here”. United Starman is undoubtedly struggling in the top flight, his cause is not being helped by those around him.

Man United crumbled to yet another defeat, dropping them to eighth place in the Premier League, and there was little doubting their incompetence against their former manager David Moyes.

Naturally, United’s goalless record has received a lot of attention. It was noted that Jason Bowen had scored more goals in the Premier League this season than the entire Man Utd starting XI even before the Hammers’ opener.

After joining from Atalanta for €74 million in the summer, Hojlund’s detractors are already beginning to turn their voices.

After all, he only received a FootballCritic rating of 5.4 against West Ham, the lowest possible score. It’s just another in a long line of miserable results for the big-money signing. In fact, in his Premier League career, he has only twice achieved scores higher than six.

However, even though Hojlund is clearly having difficulty in the top division, people around him are not doing anything to support him.

The wingers’ contribution to their labours should be closely examined, even though Man Utd’s center-forward options have drawn criticism.

Hojlund gave up.
Throughout the entire Saturday game, Hojlund received just one pass from Antony and Alejandro Garnacho combined.

He appears to be a miscast player right now. The wingers for United always prefer to enter the game from their flanks and take shots on goal. Erik ten Hag would be better serving Hojlund if he used their lone wideman, Facundo Pellistri, who enjoys getting crosses into the box.

Ultimately, this means that he is getting very little of the services he wants and being left stranded alone in an attack.

Rather, he is being made to drop deep, which allows his flaws—such as his lack of technical skill when dribbling in confined spaces or with his back to the goal—to be exploited.

Even though Hojlund isn’t playing as well as Man Utd had hoped, people around him aren’t doing anything to support him.
