BREAKING NEWS: Reports coming from Liverpool has state that an agreement has been made between Leeds and Liverpool for one of their best players this season. The player agreed to the moves as Jurgen Klopp has told him he is involved in his long-term plans and has told the club to accept the offer as he is willing to move to Liverpool.
Frank McAvennie, a former Scotland international, has pleaded with Leeds to accept Liverpool's £50 million offer for Archie Grey.
On November 10, The Daily Mail revealed that Liverpool was preparing a £50 million bid to acquire the adaptable midfield player.
He is capable of playing right back, box to box midfield, and defensive midfield. Jurgen Klopp is clearly drawn to this versatility because it would allow him to rotate more easily.
In an interview with Football Insider, McAvennie pleaded with Leeds to accept Liverpool’s 50 million dollar offer—but only if they initially keep him on loan.
“I believe that Leeds needs to sell Grey,” McAvennie remarked.
“Keep him on loan, but take the money.” He is currently not going to be able to get into either the Everton or Liverpool teams.
It’s what’s best for everybody. The season still has a long way to go, so his value could increase.
“I don’t believe he will be purchased in January. If you don’t spend a good amount of money, I doubt he’s doing that well.
“Come and get him now and loan him back to whoever wants him if he’s not ready for the Premier League.”
“I would try to do that because you would then receive payment for January.” They both benefit from it. Farke will be aware of his needs.
Stefan Bajcetic, a 19-year-old gifted player for Liverpool, is a defensive midfielder, but there are always going to be more young players rising through the ranks.
