BREAKING NEWS: Italian renowned sport journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that an agreement had been made for the possible signing of Copenhagen fc outstanding midfielder. Manchester United was also in the race in signing the 17-year-old talent but Chelsea are in no where trying to calm off as they are still willing to spend big. This was confirmed this morning.

Teenage midfielder Roony Bardghji of Copenhagen is allegedly a target for Chelsea.

The 17-year-old recently made headlines when he scored the game-winning goal for the Danish club in their thrilling 4-3 Champions League triumph over Manchester United in the 87th minute.

The Sweden U21 international is reportedly being courted by a number of Premier League teams, including the Blues.

Footballwave claims that Bardghji is being watched by Newcastle, Crystal Palace, and Nice, a Ligue 1 team controlled by potential Man United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

In fact, the story goes on to say that Nice might be the first team to move quickly to recruit the young player.

Bardghji, whose parents were Syrians, was born in Kuwait, raised in Sweden, and briefly participated in Malmo’s youth programme before moving to Copenhagen in 2020.

At sixteen years and six days, he made his senior debut for the fifteen-time Danish champions in November 2021, making history as the youngest player to ever play for their first squad.

After then, Bardghji made 57 appearances for Copenhagen and scored 15 goals, 10 of which came in 23 games this current season.

In addition to winning the Danish Cup in the latter season, he assisted his team in capturing the Danish Superliga titles in 2022–2023 and 2021–2023.

At €4 million (£3.51 million) according to Transfermarkt, Bardghji is currently valued at Copenhagen somewhat over £7 million for their extraordinary skill.

But if he stays at the club after turning 18 in November, when he can sign a bigger deal, his value can increase significantly.
