How much Man United would have to pay to fire Erik Ten Hag in light of the growing pressure

Manchester United would lose more than £15 million if Erik Ten Hag were to be sacrificed.

This is in line with a recent allegation from footballwave, which asserts that should the Red Devils want to part ways with the Dutch manager in advance, they would have to pay an outrageous amount in compensation.

Ten Hag is under criticism after an appalling start to the 2023–24 season, even though he won the Carabao Cup in his debut season as manager last year.

After two losses in their first three games, United is currently sitting eighth in the Premier League table with just 15 points after ten games. They also have a difficult Carabao Cup tie against Newcastle United and will likely have to settle for a long season with little to no hardware.

Even if the former Ajax manager isn’t in danger of losing his job just yet, pressure is definitely mounting, and last weekend’s terrible 3-0 derby loss at home against Manchester City has only made it worse.

The Red Devils’ next five Premier League games are against Chelsea (6 December), Everton (26 November), Fulham (4 November), Luton Town (11 November), and Newcastle (2 December). The club’s owners may have to make a decision before the crucial second half of the season if they are unable to secure at least nine out of a possible fifteen points.
