Following in the footsteps of players like as Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, Arsenal is supposedly nearing an agreement on a new deal with yet another key first-team member.

Defender Ben White is reportedly the next player on Mikel Arteta’s list to sign a contract with better terms, according to a recent report from Footballwave.

White, 26, moved from Brighton and Hove Albion to Arsenal two years ago, and since then, he has developed into one of the Premier League’s most reliable and unwavering defenders.

The 26-year-old is a very versatile defenseman in addition to being incredibly consistent. White, who can play both center defense and right back, is unquestionably one of Arsenal’s most underappreciated players. Obviously not with his manager, though.

There is sincere optimism that an agreement will be made and then confirmed in the upcoming months. Arteta is reportedly in a desperate attempt to prolong White’s contract, which is now scheduled to expire in 2026.

White, who has played for his senior national team four times, has scored three goals in 80 games across all competitions in his two years at the Emirates.
