SHOCKING NEWS: coming from Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona legend Xavi has urged the club to appoint Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane as their next coach. Xavi, who spent 17 years at the Catalan club, believes that Zidane would be the perfect man to lead Barcelona back to the top. Zidane is currently out of work, after leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season. The Frenchman won three consecutive Champions League titles with Los Blancos, and Xavi believes that he can do the same at Barcelona. Barcelona Legend Calls for Zidane Appointment – ‘Every Club dream of having him as coach”.

Christophe Dugarry, former Barcelona forward, believes that Bayern Munich would provide an ideal destination for Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane. With Bayern parting ways with Thomas Tuchel at the season’s end, rumors abound regarding potential successors. While Bayer Leverkusen manager Xavi Alonso has emerged as a target to return to his former club, Liverpool, another of Alonso’s former clubs, has also entered the picture.

Dugarry expressed his thoughts on Zidane’s suitability for Bayern, stating to RMC via Tribal Football, “If he’s learning German? I don’t think so. But the stadiums are full, the German league is beautiful. I think every coach dreams of a club like Bayern.” He continued, “There was Pep Guardiola, the best coach in the world. Everything is tidy, the coaches are put in the best conditions, there is enthusiasm and their work is respected. I think this is a perfect club for Zidane.”

Zidane, who has been absent from management since concluding his second tenure with Real Madrid in 2021, boasts an illustrious coaching career, including an unprecedented three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles with Los Blancos.

A close confidant of Zidane has confirmed his interest in the Bayern Munich managerial position to SPORT1. The confidant emphasized that Zidane views Bayern as an institution comparable to Real Madrid in terms of historical significance and favorable working conditions. According to the confidant, “Zinédine sees FC Bayern like Real Madrid – an institution as a club with a huge history and great working conditions. Both clubs have many similarities in the way they work. In this respect, Bayern have always been a topic that he never rejected. For him, only the French national team comes into question, plus Juventus and Bayern. But he definitely doesn’t want to go to England, that’s for sure.”
