Despite rejecting lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia with the intention of remaining a key figure under Carlo Ancelotti, Modric finds himself as the second midfielder with the least playing time in the squad.

The lack of involvement has reportedly been difficult for Modric, who has established himself as a revered figure during his 12-year tenure at the Bernabeu.
