Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly been informed of the price tag required to secure the services of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Football Insider, Wolves are setting the bar at £50-60 million for the Portuguese attacker, anticipating bids from both the Gunners and the Merseysiders.

Neto has enjoyed an impressive campaign this season, registering three goals and providing 10 assists in 18 appearances across various competitions. With his contract running until 2027, Wolverhampton Wanderers, under the management of Gary O’Neil, find themselves in a comfortable position and are not under pressure to offload the talented winger.

However, Liverpool is believed to be contemplating joining the pursuit for Neto, as they seek a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian forward has entered the final year of his contract, and there remains interest from the Saudi Pro League in acquiring his services.

On the other hand, Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, has expressed admiration for the Portugal international. Reports from November suggested that Arteta prioritized signing Neto over Brentford striker Ivan Toney, indicating the high regard in which the Spanish coach holds the winger.

Since joining Wolves in August 2019, Neto has established himself as a key figure in the team, amassing 129 appearances across various competitions and contributing 14 goals and 23 assists. Notably, the former Lazio winger offers versatility, capable of operating on either flank or in a central attacking role. Additionally, he has showcased his adaptability by featuring in the attacking midfield position this season, presenting a valuable asset for both Liverpool and Arsenal as they seek to bolster their squads during the upcoming transfer window.
