Arsenal, worried about Kylian Mbappe’s summer transfer to Real Madrid, is ready to focus on the France international and PSG star forward. The Gunners are the most recent team to express interest in the Frenchman, who has long been connected to a move out of Parc Des Princes. After failing to reach an agreement on a new contract, PSG is prepared to lose the 25-year-old in the summer when his current one expires this year. With 241 goals under his belt, Mbappe has achieved the feat of surpassing every player in the club’s history and earning a place in the annals of history.

The forward has been heavily linked to Real Madrid as their next Galactico acquisition, and it was disclosed last week that the Spanish team had reached an agreement with him. To set the record straight, Los Blancos have stated that they do not have a deal with the Frenchman and that he is still a player for PSG.According to The Independent, Arsenal is now prepared to intervene in the absence of a deal and attempt to acquire Kylian Mbappe as their new striker. The Gunners are currently searching elsewhere despite being connected to numerous strikers in recent months, including Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney.

His outrageously high salaries would be a possible roadblock to a move for the French star, particularly for a team like Arsenal. In order to get Mbappe, Mikel Arteta’s team would have to completely alter their wage structure.

In the midst of rumours linking him to Arsenal, Kylian Mbappe proved his mettle once more as his team defeated Strasbourg 2-1 in Ligue 1. After only six minutes, Strasbourg’s rookie custodian Alaa Bellaarouch denied the 25-year-old from the penalty spot after he had missed one in the first half.Mbappe scored his team’s first goal in the 31st minute, his 20th league goal of the season in just 19 games, proving that he was unfazed by the miss. With his fourth assist of the season, he then switched to being the provider for Marco Asensio, who doubled the team’s lead.

With the exception of the 2019–20 season due to COVID, Kylian Mbappe has now scored at least 20 league goals in five of the previous six seasons. In just 26 games this season, the 25-year-old has already contributed seven assists and 29 goals for the French champions.
