BREAKING NEWS: coming from Fabrizio Romano Real Madrid could turn to a shock option to replace the injured David Alaba with reports suggesting that the La Liga giants will make a January move for Manchester United star. The Manchester United Star is willing to make a move he said ” my future in United is uncertain i have given my best to the club but the signs are there I can see I’m no longer wanted and ready to join Real Madrid and to United fans I’m leaving.” Real Madrid is considering a surprise move for a Manchester United player to replace Alaba.

In order to replace the injured David Alaba, Real Madrid may choose a surprising option. According to reports, the La Liga powerhouses will try to sign Manchester United player Raphael Varane in January.

Alaba tore his anterior cruciate ligament, requiring a lengthy recovery period. As a result, Real Madrid’s only healthy centre backs are Nacho and Antonio Rudiger, while Eder Militao also sustained a long-term injury.

Varane is reportedly on the shortlist for Los Blancos, according to BILD reporter Christian Falk, and Carlo Ancelotti stated that Real would look into their options in January to replace Alaba.

Due to injuries and poor play, Varane has missed most of this season’s action for United. It was also revealed that the 30-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign. As a result, Varane’s future at United is uncertain.

Varane’s contract has an option to be extended by United for an additional season, which they are expected to exercise. However, starting in January, the Frenchman can sign a pre-contract agreement with a European team, pending a decision from the Premier League team.

Although Ten Hag is reportedly eager to hold onto Varane until the summer, the United manager is willing to let the defender go if a replacement can be found, even though it is unlikely that his team will have a sizable amount of money available for acquisitions.

Real transfers are difficult when Varane returns to the fold.
After being benched following his team’s 3-2 home loss to Galatasaray in early October, Varane made his Premier League debut in United’s recent goalless draw against Liverpool. This was his first start since September.

In the next two months, the World Cup winner played just 17 minutes in the league, but Ten Hag was forced to substitute Varane for Harry Maguire due to an injury.

When Varane returned to league action at Anfield, he made an impression. United is unlikely to allow Varane to leave in the middle of the season unless an offer comes in that is too good to refuse and gives the team the money to sign a replacement.

Varane may not be able to move unless the player pushes for a move, as Real would prefer a short-term fix to their injury problems before considering a long-term signing in the summer.
