Ten Hag had a fantastic first season at the club, helping United win the Carabao Cup, make it to the FA Cup final, and earn a Champions League spot.

Nevertheless, United has had a difficult season thus far and is currently sixth in the Premier League standings. They are also on the verge of elimination from the Champions League during the group stage and were humiliatingly eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Newcastle.

Ten Hag and Jadon Sancho’s controversies have only heightened the tension; the £73 million signing was kicked out of the first team after a public falling out with the Dutchman, and the manager is under a great deal of pressure given the form of players like Antony, Marcus Rashford, and Casemiro.

United is said to be sticking with their manager in the hopes that things will get better while the team works out its ownership problems off the pitch, but they have reportedly begun looking at other options for Ten Hag.

Zidane takes the lead despite the impractical expectations.
The bookmakers now rank Ten Hag as one of the most likely Premier League managers to be fired next after Sheffield United decided to split with Paul Heckingbottom. This move kept the United manager from becoming the first manager to lose their job this season.

Zinedine Zidane, who is regarded as the favourite to succeed Ten Hag at 7/2, has previously indicated that he would be hesitant to accept a position in England because of his poor command of the English language.

Graham Potter, who has been unemployed since Chelsea fired him earlier this year, is now the second favourite with odds of 4/1, while Roberto De Zerbi, who took his place at Brighton, is also a strong favourite at 10/1.

Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim is also available at 10/1, and current Germany manager Julian Naglesmann is 9/1, ahead of the man he replaced in Hansi Flick, who is 12/1.

With odds of 12/1, former United midfielder Michael Carrick is the next outsider, followed by former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte at 16/1.

Former United coach Kieran McKenna is available at 20/1. McKenna left to coach Ipswich Town, where he has shown promise and the team is currently sitting in the Championship promotion spots.

I think the formation 4-2-3-1 is not better for man united.so zidane can use that of real madrid 4-3-3 which could be better for man united.
