BREAKING NEWS: Liverpool FC are considering a SURPRISING transfer for a former Manchester city star as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah. The club are trying everything possible to make sure the the squad are in top form for the second half of the season, with Mbappe negotiations still ongoing and looking positive Liverpool are not backing down as the look to add another superb talent to the squad.

Footballwave claims that Liverpool and Manchester City are vying for the signature of Leroy Sane of Bayern Munich.


Both clubs are reportedly intrigued in the winger and may make a bid for him in the summer of 2024, according to Christian Falk of BILD Sport.

The 27-year-old would then be able to play in the Premier League again, where he won two league championships, an FA Cup, three EFL Cups, and two FA Community Shields.

He has won one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, two DFL-Supercups, three Bundesliga crowns, and one UEFA Super Cup since joining Bayern Munich.

In 135 games across all competitions, the German international has netted 47 goals and provided 44 assists for Manchester City.

But it’s his scorching comeback this season—he’s played 18 games for Bayern Munich across all competitions, scoring nine goals and dishing out seven assists—that has City and Liverpool vying for his signature.

This is already just eight goals short of his total from the 2022–2023 season with Bayern, in which he made 44 appearances and scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists.
