SHOCKING NEWS: Real Madrid C.F. fans have issued a very serious warning to Tottenham Hotspur FC against signing one of their very own experienced player.
It's possible that Toni Kroos of Real Madrid may elude Tottenham Hotspur and other interested Premier League teams.
Paul Brown, a transfer journalist, says he “wouldn’t be surprised” if the German midfielder stayed with Los Blancos even though his deal is set to expire in the summer.
At 33 years old, the three-time winner with Madrid is starting to see less playing time. While he is still considered a great player, it is clear that the German will eventually deteriorate, especially with players like Jude Bellingham emerging and demonstrating their significance.
Because of this, Kroos may be playing his final season at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Sun reports that Kroos would prefer to play in the Premier League before retiring, and he has been linked to a number of teams, including Spurs under Ange Postecoglou.
However, Brown isn’t sure the five-time Champions League winner will go to another team and instead believes he may sign a new deal.
Footballwave was informed by him that “Toni Kroos is clearly being offered around to various clubs in European football.
There has been a lot of interest in him since his representatives made it known that he would really like to play in the Premier League.
“Nobody has confirmed that as of yet, but he is a player that many Premier League clubs have previously tried to sign and coveted.”
“At 33, he is no longer contributing to Real Madrid in the same significant way. I believe the stories are because his contract is about to expire.
“I don’t believe he has decided what action to take going forward. If he were to accept an offer of a new contract and remain at Real Madrid, it wouldn’t come as a major surprise. He is amusing them by playing games.
Kroos, who won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, has spent nine years with Real Madrid and has personally contributed to 120 goals in 430 appearances across all competitions.
