This has led to speculation about Alvarez’s potential departure from the Etihad, with Chelsea reportedly making him a priority target.

Alvarez has also been linked with Atletico Madrid and has reportedly been approached by PSG as they consider a move for the forward. Despite this interest, The Athletic reports that Alvarez’s preferred destination is Real Madrid, as he seeks more first-team football.
