One team to keep an eye on is Manchester United in case the Serie A forward decides to move.
According to reports, Manchester United is one team to keep an eye on in the possible transfer competition for AC Milan striker Rafael Leao.
According to Calciomercato, it appears that the Portugal international’s future at the San Siro is less assured than it was recently, which might suggest that Man Utd is one prominent team that could pounce for his signature.
The Red Devils have just recently signed Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho to new contracts, so it’s unclear if they would make a move for Leao despite their report indicating that there are some concerns between Leao and Milan manager Stefano Pioli.
It’s unclear at this point whether Leao would be considered a priority for United anytime soon because both players are strong possibilities on that left side.
Even yet, given Rashford’s slump in performance this season and the struggles of other attacking players like Antony and Jadon Sancho, MUFC would be wise to give Leao some thought.
Leao is likely to attract interest from other elite Premier League teams as well, so United may come to regret it if he ends up bolstering one of their rivals.
