Footballwave suggests that Liverpool is gearing up to make an offer for AC Milan’s Rafael Leao and is contemplating including current standout Luis Diaz as part of a potential player-plus-cash deal.
According to the journalist, Liverpool’s recruitment decision-makers view the Portuguese forward as the ideal successor to Sadio Mane, who departed Anfield last summer to join Bayern Munich before moving to Saudi Arabia.
Leao, aged 24, is widely regarded as one of Europe’s premier attacking talents, boasting an impressive tally of 47 goals in 182 matches across various competitions for Milan. He made the switch to the Italian outfit from Lille in 2019, and his existing contract extends until the summer of 2028.
