Former United player and treble winner Teddy Sheringham recently gave his thoughts on the current state of the club. He expressed doubts that Ten Hag will still be in charge by the holiday season.

Sheringham: Ten Hag ‘not good enough’ for United

Speaking to Ladbrokes, as reported by footballwave, Sheringham criticized the Dutch manager, saying, “When you’re finishing eighth in the Premier League, that’s clearly not good enough for Manchester United. End of story. You’ve got to change something.”

He continued, “The inconsistency from last season has carried into this one. There’s been no improvement in the way Ten Hag wants the team to play. There are different players now, but no real change in philosophy or execution. Look, I don’t like to see anyone lose their job, but Ten Hag is just not right for United.”

Sheringham concluded by saying he doesn’t believe Ten Hag will last the season: “Do I think he’ll be here by the end of the season? No, I think he’ll be gone by Christmas.”
