Brighton’s recent parting with Roberto De Zerbi, just days before Pochettino’s exit, has led the Seagulls to target similar managerial prospects. This overlap has opened the door for Chelsea to consider another former Brighton coach.
Initially, Sebastian Hoeness and Girona’s Michel were also in the running, but both have since been ruled out. Consequently, Chelsea’s shortlist now includes the three initial candidates and one additional ‘mystery’ option.
