DEVASTATING NEWS: coming live from anfield, Liverpool star told to leave club this summer as New incoming coach want another player in his position. According to reports Liverpool will be forced to let fans favorite leave the club after new coach confirmed he has a player in mind for that position. Fan favourite tipped for SHOCK Liverpool exit after only one season.
With Jurgen Klopp set to depart Liverpool at the conclusion of the season, it’s anticipated that Feyenoord’s Arne Slot will step in as his successor, likely prompting a reevaluation of the team’s roster during the summer transfer window. However, amidst the expected changes, the unexpected departure of Wataru Endo has caught many by surprise.
Despite only joining Liverpool from Stuttgart for a fee of £16 million just a year ago, Endo has emerged as a crucial figure this season, featuring in 41 matches across various competitions and scoring three goals. Despite initial doubts surrounding his arrival, particularly following Liverpool’s failure to secure their primary transfer targets Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, Endo has managed to win over the fans with his performances.
Endo’s contributions haven’t gone unnoticed by manager Jurgen Klopp, but speculation from journalist Graeme Bailey suggests that the 31-year-old could be eyeing a return to the Bundesliga.
Bailey remarked in an interview with Rousing The Kop that Endo’s acquisition may have been intended as a temporary fix, hinting at the possibility of a move back to Germany. He noted that while Endo has performed admirably for Liverpool, a return to the Bundesliga wouldn’t be surprising given his relatively modest salary and transfer fee.
While the departures of fellow veterans Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip appear imminent as their contracts wind down, the case for parting ways with Endo is less clear-cut. Although it’s evident that Endo may not fit into the long-term plans under incoming manager Arne Slot, dismissing him solely based on his age would arguably be shortsighted, especially during a transitional period where the value of experience shouldn’t be underestimated.
