Lazio is reportedly open to making a move as well. According to Italian reports, the Serie A team is prepared to offer a loan agreement with a buyout option or obligation of €15 million.

The upcoming arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as United’s minority shareholder will not impact Greenwood’s future, while Getafe president Angel Corres insisted it was too soon to discuss his future even though he acknowledged his interest in a deal.

“We haven’t discussed the cost. We’ve discussed taking a close look at the circumstances and seeing what they have to offer,” Correa stated.
