After the Manchester United team was forced to ban a number of outlets due to leaked reports of unrest in the dressing room, Gary Neville has blasted the team's players for undermining Erik ten Hag and "trying to get another manager brought down."
After United’s humiliating 1-0 loss to Newcastle last weekend, several reports surfaced alleging that Ten Hag’s management style had cost him the support of half the players in the dressing room.
In response, the team barred a number of well-known reporters from Ten Hag’s press conference before United’s victory over Chelsea on Wednesday. Neville called the players “f***ing unforgivable” because of the severity of the leaks.
“I’ve been lenient towards the players for the past 12 months because I’ve focused on the ownership and the toxic environment.” Neville stated in the podcast Stick to Football. The greatest treachery that can occur in a football locker room, however, is when players or their agents go to the media to disparage the manager and other players.
“This is really, really inexcusable. Therefore, I thought, “Here we go again, the f*****s,” when I heard these stories emerging. They’re going to keep trying to get another manager fired and another batch of players benched.

I feel a little sorry for them right now because of the state of the club, the ongoing bad hiring practices, the negative vibes, the bad ownership, the absence of the sports department, and the lack of everything else they own. Although I’ve given them a pretty easy ride, I don’t feel sorry for them if they leak information or arrive late.
