BREAKING NEWS: Fabrizio Romano has dropped the latest update concerning Liverpool. It’s is a said and confirmed deal that Liverpool have secured the signing of Brazil wonderkid. “Imminent” move confirmed for €40M Liverpool transfer target.
The 22-year-old, who will now play in the Premier League, was instrumental in helping the Brazilian team win the Copa Libertadores for the first time in its history.
It’s possible, though, that he transfers to Fulham instead of Liverpool, as numerous rumours indicate the London team is the front-runner to sign him.
Following a 1-0 victory over Sao Paulo, head coach Diniz of Fluminense talked to ESPN Brasil regarding Andre’s future, as the midfield player is a major topic of discussion.
“André’s departure is imminent,” stated Diniz. “They are two players who trained at Fluminense and who have both had a great time and a great time again here at the club.”
“Apart from them, we have other possibilities, but I think they’re players I’m counting on a lot for next year.”
Regarding Andre’s future, ESPN Brasil did not offer any further details when the January transfer window opens.
Recent reports have been conflicting; some say Liverpool is still in the lead and still wants Andre, while others suggest Fulham will be the player’s next destination.
The fact that Fluminense has not received a formal bid for Andre means that his future is still uncertain until their demands of €40 million (£35 million) are fulfilled.
