BREAKING NEWS : Real Madrid C.F. greatest flop has finally signed a 4 years contract with Real Madrid.
Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has been the subject of transfer rumors, but nothing has materialized as he is determined to stay with Los Blancos, according to Fabrizio Romano in his Daily Briefing special column.
Given how excellent Rodrygo has been for Madrid and the fact that Romano claims other teams have been keeping an eye on his status, it makes sense for the squad to hang onto him for as long as possible.
The 22-year-old Brazilian attacker, who is expected to sign a new contract at the Bernabeu tomorrow nevertheless, is undoubtedly talented enough to be a vital member of several elite Premier League teams. However, it is unclear who has expressed the greatest interest in the player.
Fans of Real Madrid will be happy to hear this news, since it comes after a string of other new contracts for high-profile players like Vinicius Junior. According to Romano, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde are also expected to sign new contracts soon.
“Rodrygo Goes will sign a new deal at the Bernabeu, and Vinicius Junior has finally had an official contract extension confirmed,” Romano remarked. “Real Madrid are on fire with their contract extensions.”
This Thursday, Rodrígo will sign a new contract that will extend until 2028 and provide him with a higher pay. Like Vinicius, he will have a €1 billion release clause. There is an agreement, and it will be completed on Thursday.
Naturally, other teams are interested in signing top players like Rodrygo, but there has never been a formal negotiation over Rodrygo because he is solely focused on Real Madrid, a team he loves, and they have faith in him for the present and the future. Therefore, it was never solid.
“Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Eder Militao will all be signing new contracts with Real Madrid soon. Their goal is to retain all of their top players on long-term contracts,” he continued. We won’t be long in getting additional significant announcements after Vinicius’s new contract is formally announced.
